Mandatory training requirements for Club Directors in NSW have been introduced as a part of the 1st July 2023 gaming reforms. The Responsible Gambling Board Oversight course empowers directors with the skills and knowledge required to confidently meet these legislative requirements, fostering a safer and more responsible gambling environment. By 30th June 2025, all NSW Club Directors in venues with gaming machines must be certified under new NSW Government reforms.
All Club Directors with gaming machines must complete one of the following:
Responsible Conduct of Gambling (RCG) and Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gambling (ARCG) training courses, OR
Responsible Gambling Board Oversight (RGBO) training course approved by Liquor & Gaming NSW.

This RGBO course is a one-hour abridged version of the Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gambling (ARCG) course, equipping Club Directors with an enhanced understanding of their venue’s responsibility to proactively minimise gambling harm.

A unique email address: This email address cannot be used by another student as it becomes your unique login username.
Current Identification: You must have valid photo identification (must not be expired more than 3 months). Acceptable photo identification can include: Passport photo page, driver’s license, Key Pass, Photo Card, and student photo ID card (must include date of birth).
Once you log in to the system, you will be prompted to upload a copy of your photo identification.
Technology: Ensure you have a device with a camera and microphone so you can participate in the training.
Please Note: the RGBO training session will be recorded and used as evidence of attendance. You will need to have your camera on for the full duration of the course. You must be 100% visible for the full duration of the course.
