INTRODUCTION TO FOOD SAFETY

The Introduction to Food Safety course is a basic food handling course that is designed to provide the basics of food safety. This course will give you the skills and knowledge required to prepare and handle food safely.

This is a great course to take if you would like to get started in the industry, but have no experience.

On completion of this course, you should understand the fundamentals of food safety including:

  • Follow hygiene procedures and identify hazards
  • Report any personal health issues
  • Prevent food and other item contamination.
  • Prevent cross contamination by washing hands

Introduction to Food Safety is a non-accredited course. A certificate of completion is included.
