Whether you’re working/volunteering in the Early Childhood Education & Care (ECEC) sector, out of school hours care, in schools, sports and recreation, support work, etc. it’s important (and in many cases legislatively required) to complete child protection training. One of the most serious duties we have when we work/volunteer with children and young people is the obligation to act when we reasonably suspect that a child is in need of protection from abuse or neglect.
