CHILD PROTECTION COURSE

Identify & Report Children & Young People at Risk - Sports & Recreation

$29.00

Also known as ‘child protection training’ or ‘child safety training’.

As people that engage with children and young people in our community through sport clubs and other recreational activities, it’s helpful to understand what we can do when we reasonably suspect that a child:

  • has suffered, is suffering, or is at risk of suffering significant harm caused by abuse or neglect; or
  • may not have a parent who is willing and able to protect them from harm.

This non-accredited course is appropriate for anyone working, volunteering, or participating in the running of children’s sports and recreation to build their knowledge around their obligations to protect children and young people and is a great way to meet child and youth risk management strategy obligations.

Must be 18 years or older to enrol into this course.
