Identify & Report Children & Young People at Risk - Online Course for Sports & Recreation - $29

Also referred to as ‘Child Protection Training’, ‘Child Safety Training’, and Child Protection Awareness Training’.

As people that engage with children and young people in our community through sport clubs and recreational activities, it’s helpful to understand what we can do when we reasonably suspect that a child:

  • has suffered, is suffering, or is at risk of suffering significant harm caused by abuse or neglect; or
  • may not have a parent who is willing and able to protect them from harm.

This non-accredited course is appropriate for anyone working, volunteering, or participating in the running of children’s sports and sport clubs to build their knowledge around their obligations to protect children and young people.

Having anyone engaging in children’s sports and recreation complete child protection training is a great way to meet child and youth risk management strategy obligations.

Must be over 18 years to enrol in this course.
